Who We Are

We are a womenโ€™s vocal ensemble from the Mendocino Coast, rising from the fog-kissed cliffs with songs rooted in rhythm, ritual, and the shared pulse of feminine spirit. Our songs are woven like golden threads of honeyโ€”sweet, sacred, and wild.

With voices grounded in earth and carried on sea wind, we sing to remember. We recall the sweetness of belonging, embrace the magic of the land. We acknowledge the wild within us all.

What We Do

We are cultivating a new kind of audienceโ€”one that listens with the heart. We encourage you to move with the rhythm, and remembers that you belong in the song.

Each song we sing to youโ€ฆ and sometimes, we sing together.
Our offerings are an invitation to listen, to feel, andโ€”when the moment callsโ€”to sing.

Our gatherings welcome call and response, hand claps, and simple circle dances.
Whether your voice joins in or your heart simply listens, you are part of the hive.

Honey Hive Members

Jessaiah Zure travels alongside folklorists, researchers, and tradition bearers of the Balkan regions, Roma (Gypsy) communities, and the Middle East and North Africaโ€”learning directly from source musicians and dancers. Raised in the sounds of R&B and Jazz in the U.S., with deep roots in Spirituals and Bluegrass, she carries a love for the soul of music in all its forms.

A lifelong devotee of culture, rhythm, and community, Jessaiah is passionate about sharing and creating from the rich traditions our ancestors have passed down. She believes in music and dance as living tools for connection, healing, and celebration.

Paloma Carmona is a multidisciplinary artist, energy medicine practitioner, and singer-songwriter devoted to beauty, healing, and heart connection. Sheโ€™s the creative force behind Paizogony, where she crafts jewelry that feels like medicineโ€”earthy, elegant, and meant to be worn with intention. Her work weaves together years of study in Shamanic Energy Medicine, ritual practice, and artistic expression into offerings that ground the spirit and spark the soul.

Palomaโ€™s newest creationโ€”Tiny Tuned In Concertsโ€”blends intimate music with ceremonial cacao, guiding listeners on a journey back to their hearts. Her songs arenโ€™t just melodies; theyโ€™re transmissionsโ€”raw, honest, and vibrationally tuned to open something sacred. Palomaโ€™s artโ€”whether worn or heardโ€”asks only this: come as you are, and let beauty do what it does bestโ€”open something true.
