WHO IS SINGING?
Keep on knocking, and joy inside
will eventually open a window
and look out to see who’s there.
RUMI, translated by Coleman Barks
COME YOUR VOICE IS WAITING FOR YOU
Sing In Community
Intuitive Drum Song offers you a way to access a sacred realm. A way to gain access to your inner world through your intuitive heart songs and rhythm. It is a practice developed for you to gain familiarity with entering the place where your songs live. The realm where the music of your heart exists, ready for your voice to hear it, and bring it out into being. It is the vocabulary of your soul, a knowledge that waits at the ready, a tool for you to connect with your heart.
Individual Lessons
In the heart of your being, if you feel the fundamental necessity to sing and need help, I a here to support you to sing!
In conjunction with the ancient tool of the frame drum, you discover an amazing container is created within you. The frame drum will help create your own sacred space within your unique rhythm and frequency, supporting you to experience the coherence of your own heart. It is a tool to reconnect and honor your sacred life, feel the connection with all life buzzing around you, and a way to remind yourself where you came from.

The gift of singing and music came to me from my family of musicians. My community was full of music, and I absorbed this discipline viscerally. Continuing with this discipline, I attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, and then went to New York’s New School for Social Research to study in their Jazz department where I picked up the frame drum.
IDS is a distillation of a quarter century of frame drum study and practice derived from the Mediterranean, the Fertile Crescent, the Celtic Isles, and Mother Europe. I am an eternal student, I seek answers to fuel evolution, health, and harmony. I sing to sustain love upon this earth. I am here to help you birth your songs into being, I am a Song Dula.

“There will come a time when a diseased condition will not be described as it is today by the physicians and psychologists, but it will be spoken of in musical terms, as one would speak of a piano that was out of tune.”
