Intuitive Drum Song (IDS) is a practice of inter-dimensional self-care to support your sound health.

*Sound Health refers to the state of being physically, mentally, and emotionally well. It is characterized by the absence of illness, pain, or serious health conditions.
IDS has a potential to connect you to a wellspring of creative source, unique sound, frequency, and energy. It allows you to experience a spaciousness within your cells that is created as sound and rhythm hum and buzz through your being. This can reconnect you with a powerful sense of well-being and feeling of “sound health”.

Intuitive Drum Song creates space to learn HOW to access that song that lives in your heart, your inner music. A way to dive into the pulse and frequencies of life within you and become part of the splendid collective symphony of creation. It is time for your active participation in your sound health and well-being.
You are an essential part of this evolution, this creation and a main player in the health and well being of our generations to come.
These sessions focus on the INTENTION of your sound, and not the quality of your voice. You will be guided to the inner land where your voice lives, and bring awareness to how you orchestrate your source energy/voice/heart out into the world.
Intuitive Drum Song has been created by Lavender Grace and the lands and waters of Northern California. She combined the lineage of her Celtic peoples of the Great North, and peppered with deep roots of North African knowledge.
This offering uses the frame drum (Tar) played in the fingerstyle manner as inspired by teachers; Layne Redmond, Rowan Storm, Marla Leigh, Dror Sinai, and Jaime Haddad.
Utilizing rhythms from the fertile crescent and Mediterranean region we explore the realms of the mystics, seekers, and wisdom keepers through rhythm and song.
Lavender Grace received formal training from the Jazz department at the New School for Social Research in NYC, and studied Theater at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland.
Lavender has has worked with Shiloh Sophia McCloud since 2007 on numerous projects and co-facilitated many events at Musea, the Center for Intentional Creativity.
In 2018 she performed the closing ceremony in the first International Learning from the Bees Conference in the Netherlands and then again in 2019 in Berlin, Germany.
Raised in Mendocino on the California Coast, she had a “back to the land, off the grid” upbringing and is a 5th generation musical artisan. As a Sustainability Consultant she formed the Bee Bold Alliance, a regenerative ecology network for pollinator protection. She has recently joined the board of the Mendocino Art Center and is excited to form a multimedia cross cultural story song course with the youth.
